October 7th Runner packet pick-up: 3-6 P.M. & Saturday 5:30 A.M.
October 7th Pre-race Briefing Friday at 7:00 P.M. at Base Camp.

Meal: Saturday, October 8th, (Dinner included for 25/50 milers): bring ticket(s).

Amenities: T-Shirts to all participants.  Buckles for 50 mile finishers.
Awards will be given, following the race.
Aid stations approx. every five miles; NO AGE CATEGORIES.

Course Desciption and general info:
1. Race is a loop course and will start and finish from the base camp windmill.
2. Runners run concurrently with horses. This is not a ride & tie. The 25 & 50 mile courses are moderately difficult; the 13 mile is a rolling course. The 25 & 50 mile distances should not be undertaken without significant preparation. Runners should be in shape for travel over rough country, including steep and rocky terrain. Most of the course is on mountainous trails and back roads through the tall pines of Mingus Mountain. Elevation at base camp is Approx. 5000 feet with 50 mile course climbing to an approx. elevation of 7600 feet.
3. Weather conditions are highly unpredictable, with snow and hail are as possible as sun shine and clear skies. No refunds due to poor conditions.
4. Base camp can accommodate over-night campers, and RV’s. No parking or camping will be allowed outside base camp boundaries. NO CAMPFIRES WILL BE PERMITTED.
5. Pit crews will have access to certain aid stations. Aid stations aproximately every 5 miles

Cancellation Policy: Cancels prior to Oct. 1st will receive a refund less $35.00 admin fee. No refunds due to weather conditions.
